You are part of a close-knit and cheerful work team that delivers high class dining experiences on a daily basis. The service involves work in both hot and cold kitchens and includes work management. We are looking for an experienced chef who likes a high tempo. You have a good knowledge of ingridients, are creative, enterprising, cooperative and flexible. You enjoy inspiring both your colleagues and guests and work close with our head chef. We are looking for you with a passionate interest in food. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
• Chef training or equivalent
• Work management experience
• Swedish-speaking
• Good knowledge of English
• B driving licence
Permanent employment, full-time (part-time work can be discussed). Probationary period of 6 months is applied.
Working hours are mainly in the daytime, weekend work occurs continuously and sometimes also in the evenings. We would like you to be able to start work as soon as possible, but no later than May 12th 2025.

Vandalorum’s award-winning restaurant is a vibrant meeting place in the middle of the art. Here, seasonal ingredients are prepared with care, and bread and pastries come from our own oven. In addition to the lunch of the day, a à la carte menu is also served.
Vandalorum is a museum of international contemporary art and design, located in Värnamo, Småland, and has over 100.000 visitors a year. Vandalorum is run by a foundation and is built according to an original concept by Renzo Piano with inspiration from local building traditions and materials. At Vandalorum, about 10 exhibitions are displayed annually. It also houses the collection of Småland Art Archive.
Vandalorum is a member of FREMIA, the employers' association for activities in cooperation, civil society, idea-borne welfare and social welfare, and has signed and complies with collective agreements. We strive for diversity where the backgrounds, experiences, knowledge and personalities of our employees enrich the business.

We are always looking for volunteers who want to be hosts in our exhibitions! As an exhibiton volunteer, you contribute to added value for our visitors by being available in the exhibition halls and answering simple questions about the exhibitions and Vandalorum. Our exhibition hosts are highly appreciated among our visitors! No specific prior knowledge is required.

Vandalorum started a volunteer program linked to the garden in 2023, with three main purposes: social sustainability, self-creation and collective education. The volunteer program has participants from different generations from all over southern Sweden, who meet weekly and share experiences, knowledge and socializing.
The program is led by Vandalorum's gardener and the volunteers get to see Piet Oudolf every time he is on site. Among the participants you can find landscape architects, garden designers, gardeners and dedicated hobby growers.
