Oudolf's Volunteers

Vandalorum started a volunteer program linked to the garden in 2023, with three main purposes: social sustainability, self-creation and collective education. The volunteer program has participants from different generations from all over southern Sweden, who meet weekly and share experiences, knowledge and socializing.

The program is led by Vandalorum's gardener and educator Gunhild Øibakken Pedersen and museum director Elna Svenle. The volunteers get to see Piet Oudolf every time he is on site. Among the participants you can find landscape architects, garden designers, gardeners and dedicated hobby growers.

As a thank you for your commitment, we offer

• lunch and coffee in Vandalorum's restaurant in conjunction with the volunteer pass
• preview of new exhibition together with the exhibiting artist/designer or equivalent
• free participation in selected lectures and activities throughout the year
