Internship in the garden

Right now there is an opportunity to apply for an internship in Piet Oudolf's garden at Vandalorum!

If you are studying to be a gardener or take an equivalent education, you are welcome to contact Administrative Manager Malena Sandahl with an application.

Spontaneous application

At the moment we do not have any open positions, but you are always welcome to submit a spontaneous application (CV + max 1 A4 page) in which you describe who you are and why you want to work at Vandalorum.

You can also sign up for our newsletters where we advertise open positions.

Internship

If you are going to undertake an internship within the framework of your post-secondary studies, or if you have been granted an internship from Arbetsförmedlingen, you are welcome to send us an application.

We also accept trainees from elementary school and high school.

Exhibition Volunteer

We are always looking for volunteers who want to be hosts in our exhibitions! As an exhibiton volunteer, you contribute to added value for our visitors by being available in the exhibition halls and answering simple questions about the exhibitions and Vandalorum. Our exhibition hosts are highly appreciated among our visitors! No specific prior knowledge is required.

As a thank you for your commitment, we offer

• lunch and coffee in the restaurant in conjunction with the work session
• preview of a new exhibition together with the exhibiting artist/designer or equivalent
• free participation in selected lectures and activities throughout the year

Do you have questions or want to register your interest as an exhibition volunteer? Send an e-mail to our art teacher Ida Olsson.

Oudolf's Volunteers

Vandalorum started a volunteer program linked to the garden in 2023, with three main purposes: social sustainability, self-creation and collective education. The volunteer program has participants from different generations from all over southern Sweden, who meet weekly and share experiences, knowledge and socializing.

The program is led by Vandalorum's gardener and educator Gunhild Øibakken Pedersen and museum director Elna Svenle. The volunteers get to see Piet Oudolf every time he is on site. Among the participants you can find landscape architects, garden designers, gardeners and dedicated hobby growers.

As a thank you for your commitment, we offer

• lunch and coffee in Vandalorum's restaurant in conjunction with the volunteer pass
• preview of new exhibition together with the exhibiting artist/designer or equivalent
• free participation in selected lectures and activities throughout the year

Do you have questions or want to register your interest as a garden volunteer? Send an e-mail to our garden educator Gunhild Øibakken Pedersen.
