The picture shows the exhibition with the Bruno Mathsson Prize winner of the year 2015.
Lamps in general, and ceiling lights in particular, have more tasks than diffusing light — they shape the room. The lamp hanging from the ceiling, often above a table, creates a space in the room.

The architects and designers Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune started their collaboration on the first day at Konstfack. They realized that they shared an interest in architectural and design history, especially the roots of international modernism. With their thesis in 1994, they emphasized the connection between architecture, spatial design and the design of objects. Their career has been characterised by finding the essence of each project, scaling off and honing their way to functional and aesthetically pleasing results.

With their extensive international commissions, Claesson Koivisto Rune has played a significant role in increasing the world's interest in contemporary Swedish design. An important experience they learned abroad is that faithlessness can have a point — as a designer, simply being faithful to a company and its industrial resources becomes easily creatively inhibiting.

During early successes, it took a decade before Claesson Koivisto Rune could make a living from drawing products and houses. Today, ten people are employed in the office. Today, their curiosity is aroused by new challenges, by honing their own design language and by participating in the design of better habitats. Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune are the recipients of the Bruno Mathsson Prize 2015.
