We have a diverse educational program where we offer guided visits for all students in preschool, primary school, upper secondary school and adult education, as well as more extensive workshops within the framework of Skapande Skola. Vandalorum offers visits and guided tours free of charge for schools in the area of Jönköping Municipality.
Vandalorum shows 6 – 10 different art and design exhibitions every year. For each exhibition, programs with tours adapted to the school curriculum are designed. We also offer a creative workshop in connection with one of our ongoing exhibitions. Here students can create for themselves based on a given task that ties into the theme of the exhibition. We also offer teacher-led workshops at an additional cost.
Vandalorum is part of the project Kulturrätten, which provides grants for cultural trips and culture within schools in Region Jönköping.
At Vandalorum we also offer more extensive educational programs within the framework of Skapande Skola. The application for Skapande Skola from the Swedish Arts Council is open until February 11th, apply here!
Each Skapande Skola event begins with a tour of one of our ongoing exhibitions. This is followed by a practical workshop with one of our art or design educators and a professional designer or artist. We work with three themes within the Skapande Skola: art, design and photography.
