For schools

The photo shows a workshop with school students.
At Vandalorum, students of all ages are given the opportunity to work with established artists, architects and designers in a creative, inspiring and permissive environment.

We have a diverse educational program where we offer guided visits for all students in preschool, primary school, upper secondary school and adult education, as well as more extensive workshops within the framework of the Creation School for Primary Schools.Visiting with guided tour at Vandalorum is free of charge for all students in pre-school, primary school and upper secondary school in Region Jönköping.

Visits with viewing

At Vandalorum, between 6 and 10 art and design exhibitions are displayed per year. For all exhibitions, programs with displays adapted to the school curriculum are designed. We also offer an open creative workshop in connection with one of our ongoing exhibitions. Here students can create for themselves based on a given task that ties into the theme of the exhibition. We can also offer teacher-led workshops for a fee.

Cultural grants in cooperation with the Swedish Cultural Rights

Vandalorum is part of the Cultural Rights Project, which provides grants for cultural trips and culture in schools in Region Jönköping.

Creation school

At Vandalorum we also offer more extensive educational programs within the framework of the Creative School. The application for Skapande Skola from the Arts Council is currently closed.

Each Creative School event begins with a display in an ongoing exhibition. This is followed by a practical workshop with one of our art or design educators and a professional designer or artist. We work with three overarching themes within the Creative School: art, design and photography.
